It's just that everything Apple makes is so wonderful that only their crappiest stuff can be black. Their fancier, more expensive stuff has become so good it's bad. So it goes back to being white. That's right, the 3G iPhone transcends the normal scale of awesomeness. It's too good for this world. You’ve got it all wrong: black still signifies high-end technology.
