I was able to the first time. Since then, I haven’t been able to get even the basic setup to work. I get an error on every option except the last one, usually, but it isn’t consistent.

Were you able to get sound to play out of the speakers by following the basic directions?

I am experiencing the same problem with the LoopBe device. Actually, almost all the options give me that error, seemingly at random. I can select a device that fails, then select it again later and it doesn’t give the error.

I’m hoping to use this with Absynth. If you want a hand troubleshooting, let me know.

Yep tried both and they both give the same error “Error initializing Midi device”. Again no real big deal I was hopping to use it as a triggering device in Reaper but fingerplay works so I am good.

Are you sure you are selecting the correct LoopBe device? There is probably an input & output device and the list would include both (but would fail with the wrong one). If you email me (my email is in the Market or on the contact portion of this site), I can try and provide some more assistance.

Great app thanks for the hard work. I have been able to get the Desktop Client to work but only using MIDI Mapper every time I have tried to use one of the programs you suggested I get an “Error initializing Midi device” and I have tried it on 4 different computers with the same result. 1 Vista and 3 XP computers. I have left LoopB1 on one of my computers and have tested other software and it does work, fingerplay for the android works with LoopB1.

Regarding updates: I’m not sure exactly what you mean. All future updates to Musical Pro are free once you have purchased the application once (for $1.99). Where did you read that?
Regarding tuner: You tell it what note the instrument is supposed to be playing, then it 1. lets you play that note through the speaker for you to hear and 2. uses the microphone to listen to your instrument and show you if you are too high or too low

Ey there,

I will receive my G1 phone in the next couple of weeks! I’m so excited, well, but I found your app and it sounds very interested to me, but first I’d like to know a few things:
- I read that updates are not included for users that have paid for the pro app. Is it true? and,
- The tuner feature gives you tunes for you to tune your instrument or it identifies the sound that the device ‘hears’ and then gives you the note? that would be great.
