Thank you Christopher, I was not expecting a refund so promptly (or even at all). That shows a command of great customer service, and I am thankful. I really wished to be able to use Music Pro as it is bundled with many features, and the thought of having a midi keyboard with me on long trips would allow me to make beats on Reason without the hassle of bringing a keyboard. I wish you good luck towards your app development.

The Midi initialization error happened to me as well. I followed all of the instructions, but sadly my $4 just went down the drain.

Hi,
I can’t install Musical Desktop. I have the error message “Could not find the main class” when I lauch the jar file from here : http://www.souvey.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/MusicalDesktop.jar
Any solution ?

i too am having the same problem on win 7 it says error initializing midi device no matter which option i choose. please help i wud really love to use this to play melodies into reason

Yes.
If I try Java Sound Sequencer – nothing happens. If Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth – “Error initializing MIDI device”.

Yes, I have a “Error initializing MIDI device” error too. So, Desktop Client not work.
A have a WinXP, last Java, and Sonic Foundry MIDI Router as “Virtual cable” to V-Stack with Hyper Canvas. Sonic Foundry work fine to connect between JammerLive and Hyper Canvas.

If there is a successful connection, it a message with appear on the screen. If this does not show up, there must be some sort of firewall or communication issue
