hi. i really like this app a lot. maybe you could have an upload corner for us to upload and people to share what we have "transposed", that would save a lot of time for others
also, with only one octave in practise mode, we are unable to play harder songs.
theres this app i saw on the iphone(i use android but i found this on a friends iphone)
that the keypad had a scrolling ability.
so that lets say i played a on the octave keyboard , and the next note is high a, the keyboard scrolls itself automatically there?

I haven't gotten a chance to try out an Incredible yet, so I'm not sure.
Do you remember if the multitouch wizard mentioned "Android 2.0" or if it mentioned "HTC Sense"?
If it was using the Android 2.0 multitouch, there is nothing hard-coded about number of fingers--it just loops over however many are available.
It is possible however, that it could be reverting to the old 2-finger HTC multitouch, but I don't have one on hand to check.

I currently don't have plans for a guitar, as there are a good number of guitar apps already out there for Android that have good reviews (although I have written up some neat code that accurately synthesizes guitar strings--I just haven't figured out what, if anything, to do with it).

I'm not sure about the Desire, specifically, but I tried out a bunch of the new devices at Google IO, and they seemed to have much improved multitouch screens (ex: I think the Evo supported 10 fingers or something).
The version of Android isn't going to be able to fix it--it is almost exclusively a hardware problem (I'm running 2.2 on my Nexus One, and it still doesn't work properly)

Any news on the multi-touch front? Do the newer phones (e.g. Desire) or Android 2.1/2.2 offer any improvements with the problem of fingers needing to be two keys apart?

I just bought the app for my HTC incredible...I love it, great work! Also love this play along feature as I play guitar, but not piano...any plans for guitar instrument? Also, I think the incredible supports more than 2 touch points but app says only 2.

Droid user with the latest 2.1 upgrade. Desktop client is running on the Mac with the IP 192.168.1.100 but the Musical Pro fails to connect. But it already is connected and WiFi works fine, with the Droid having IP 192.168.1.101 Any ideas on how to connect so MIDI from the Mac can be used. That's why I purchased Pro. Thanks.
